What we respond to
Data corrections
A protein, calorie or serving figure looks wrong somewhere on the site. Send the page URL plus either (a) a photo of the current nutrition panel, (b) the USDA FoodData Central ID, or (c) the manufacturer's product page. Corrections like this get top priority — the whole point of the site is that the numbers are right.
Methodology questions
Something in the calculator math doesn't match a paper you've read, or a coefficient looks off. The full methodology is at /methodology; if a citation there is wrong or out of date, tell us.
Brand additions & new categories
You make a high-protein product that isn't in the database. Send the brand, product name and either a USDA FDC ID, an Open Food Facts barcode, or a clear photo of the nutrition panel. We only add products with a verifiable upstream record — the database does not accept self-reported numbers.
Press & partnerships
Coverage requests, podcast bookings, or partnership enquiries (data licensing, white-label calculator widgets, B2B tooling) all land at the same address.
What we don't answer
Personal medical questions. If you are on a GLP-1 medication, pregnant, breastfeeding, or managing a chronic condition, the calculators and articles here are a starting point for a conversation with your dietitian or doctor — they are not a replacement for one. See the terms for the full not-medical-advice line.
Response time
Honest: this is a solo-operated project. Most emails get a reply within a few business days; complicated data corrections may take longer if an upstream source needs to be cross-checked. We'd rather take a day and get it right than auto-reply.
