What we collect

Google Analytics 4 (anonymised)

We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and understand which pages are useful. Analytics is configured with IP anonymisation (anonymize_ip), and we do not collect, see, or store any personally identifiable information. GA4 may set its own cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and may share aggregated data with Google per Google's own privacy practices — Google privacy policy.

You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site at once by installing the official Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by using your browser's built-in tracking-protection features.

Server logs (hosting infrastructure)

The site is served as static files by Firebase Hosting behind Cloudflare DNS. As with any web server, the hosting layer records standard HTTP request logs (IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp) so it can serve the site and protect against abuse. Those logs are governed by Firebase and Cloudflare's own privacy practices; we do not separately mirror or analyse them.

Things you type into calculators

Every calculator on the site (protein intake, GLP-1, macros, snack-finder, collagen reality check) runs entirely in your browser. The values you enter — weight, height, age, goal, the protein and calorie numbers you log — are never sent to a server. We never see them. Closing the tab discards them.

What we don't collect

• No accounts, sign-ups, email captures or login state.
• No behavioural tracking pixels (no Facebook pixel, no TikTok pixel, no LinkedIn Insight tag).
• No remarketing audiences or ad-network cookies — there are no ads on the site.
• No third-party fonts that fingerprint visitors (we use Google Fonts via standard CSS link — no JS).
• No A/B testing tools or session-replay recorders.

Affiliate links

The roadmap includes adding affiliate links (Amazon Associates and similar) on snack detail pages once the site qualifies for those programmes. When that ships, affiliate links will be clearly disclosed (with rel="sponsored" on the link and a plain-language disclosure on the page) and any tracking introduced by clicking them is governed by the destination retailer's own privacy policy, not ours. Until then, no affiliate cookies are set.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data about them. The calculator inputs intentionally constrain age to 14 and over.

Changes to this policy

If we add a new data source — for example, swapping or adding a different analytics tool, or adding affiliate networks — we will update this page and bump the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be called out plainly rather than buried.
